In ITS, we recognize the importance of professional development for our staff. We emphasize both individual professional development as well as the development of high-performing teams and we’ve developed an “IT Academy” learning portal to promote ongoing training. We have approximately 130 training courses in our IT Academy, including technical courses, people/management skills training, and courses that are specific to our IT environment at UVA.
We have no shortage of challenging IT projects to work on and more than 100 IT products and services that we support for the University community. We directly support the University’s mission by delivering and supporting the technology that:
