Information Technology Services is the central service provider for information technology services across the University. Providing over 100 services, the mission of ITS is to promote information technology as a strategic resource throughout the University and to exemplify service excellence.

- Office of the Chief Information Officer

The Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) includes the Vice President and CIO; Deputy CIO; and Assistant Vice President and Chief of Staff. The Deputy CIO has specific responsibility for IT Finance, Administration, and Learning. The Chief of Staff leads Communications & Outreach and the Project Management Office.
- Enterprise Infrastructure

Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) provides support for wireless and wired networks, Internet access, telephony services, data centers, storage, computing and private cloud platforms, Microsoft services, AWS and Azure public cloud services, endpoint management, and process improvement initiatives.

Enterprise Applications (EA) provides support for enterprise-wide systems like Identity Management, Workday Finance and Workday Human Capital Management, the Student System, Document Imaging, and the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Enterprise Applications also provides tools and technology for securely integrating system

Research Computing (RC) provides innovative solutions for researchers who need help solving complex optimization, parallelization, workflow, and data analysis issues; builds and maintains leading-edge research computing platforms; and educates the next generation of researchers on the power of advanced computing.
- Support Services and Learning Technologies

Support Services and Learning Technologies provides classroom multi-media support, end user support, desktop management, the LSP Program, communications and outreach, cloud application services, software licensing, and IT Service Management processes and tools.

Information Security (InfoSec) provides information security consultation, guidance, and investigative support to the UVA community. InfoSec focuses on enhancing security of UVA's diverse and decentralized computing environment and continually analyzes and updates information policies.
- Custom Applications & Consulting Services

Custom Applications & Consulting Services (CACS) provides full-service digital design, development, and hosting solutions to our UVA partners. Our specialties include web-based applications, Salesforce, Drupal websites, mobile development, data integrations and Qlik reporting. Our teams stay lean and can rapidly deploy solutions, while providing a personalized experience for our customer.

INFORMATION SECURITY
Information Security (InfoSec) supports the mission of the University by focusing on the continuous enhancement of information policies and security of UVA's diverse and decentralized computing environment. InfoSec works in partnership with units and individuals across the University to formulate IT policies, standards, and procedures; assess security risks; establish strategic direction; provide security education and training; implement security safeguards; track security incidents; and oversee the annual risk assessment process to evaluate the effectiveness of IT security controls within the IT environments of all UVA departments.
